There are just a few days left to book your free ticket to this year's online celebration of women in Frome.

The afternoon will include lite bite workshops, panels and conversations around empowering women in all aspects of life, from business and family life to being part of the community and self-care. The programme has been designed to be dipped in and out of depending on attendees' commitments and availability and will cover a wide range of topics from reflecting on the past year to future ambitions.

The unmissable Mojo Moves will be getting the party started, followed by talks about personal resilience from Jen Gale and goal setting strategies from Dawn Denton. The co-founder of Engaging Women, Rosie Eliot, will lead the Women Mean Business Panel and Cllr Lizzie Boyle will take attendees through an eye-opening Gender Bias Bingo! In between sessions there will be short mindful moments and learning opportunities including a reflexology hand sequence from Susie Ray, macrame making from Aliss Vaas and relaxing breathing techniques from Jotipal Kaur.

Mayor of Frome, Cllr Anita Collier said, "From home-schooling to adapting working environments and day to day life during a pandemic, what a year it has been for us all. We do hope you will join us to celebrate and honour women in our communities and what has been accomplished during a time of extreme stress and pressure for so many."

Everyone is welcome to attend the online event organised by Frome Town Council and Engaging Women to recognise International Women's Day and the challenges the last year has brought while looking to the what the future holds. It will take place on 12th March 2021 from 12.30-5.30pm and you can find out more and book your free spot HERE : the ticket site
