An application for approval of details reserved by condition 6 (paving for front path, courtyard and south terrace) on planning permission 2018/2707/HSE and listed building consent 2018/2708/LBC at Standerwick Court by Mr Guy Monson, has been approved.

Planning applications that have been received this week include:

Plans to relocate an existing gas meter from internal laundry room to external box at the Frome Foyer, 16 Bath Street, Frome, have been applied for by Mr Dave Bonstow.

A proposed single storey rear extension at 5 Grange Road, Frome, is wanted by Mr William Robinson.

Proposals to replace Velux windows in annex to main house with conservation windows at Mendip House, Welshmill Road, Frome, have been put forward by Mr Lee Hopkins.

Proposed works to trees in a conservation area: T1 - Willow - Fell. T2 - Eucalyptus - Reduce x 2m at 14 Nunney Road, Frome, are wanted by Mrs Douglas.

The proposed reinstatement of upper floor window to East elevation at 2 Church Cottages, Village Pump To Church, Lullington, has been applied for by Mrs Rebecca Brennan.

Proposed alterations to shop frontage, and inclusion of partition at ground floor level at 21-22 Ground Floor, Bath Street, Frome, are wanted by Mr Marcus Squires.

An application to vary condition 12 (Hard Landscaping scheme) on Planning Approval 2015/1944/REM at Eastgate Building, 63 Christchurch Street East, Frome, has been put forward by Mr Jasper Becker.

An application for prior notification of agricultural development for a proposed building at Mells Colliery, Station Road, Mells, has been made by Mr Martin Coles.

An application for approval of details reserved by conditions 3 (materials drawing no. 1602/B04), 4 (hard and soft landscaping scheme, 8 (provision for bats), 9 (lighting design for bats), 10 (bat habitats), 11 (nesting swallows nesting scheme) on planning consent 2017/0289/FUL on land west of Brownshutters Farm, Farleigh Road, Norton St Philip, has been made by Mr and Mrs Emery.

The erection of a single storey extension to rear, minor alterations to the internal layout to provide wc/wet room on the ground floor; new floor finish in hall and erection of a workshop/garden building at Manor Farm Cottage, Bell Hill, Norton St Philip, has been applied for by Mr and Mrs Haynes.

Proposed works to tree/s in a Conservation Area: T1 (Cherry) Fell at 43 High Street, Rode, have been applied for by Mr Homes.

Proposed works to tree/s in a Conservation Area: Elm (T1 & T2) Fell due to disease at The Cygnet, High Street, Nunney, have been applied for by Mr and Mrs Stenning.

Planning applications decided this week include:

The construction of an oak framed, two bay garage at Hunting Lodge, Tellisford Lane To Church Farm Lane, Tellisford, by Mr and Mrs Sames has been withdrawn.

Repair and insulation of roof, insertion of rooflights, creation of kitchenette and bathroom at first floor level, replacement of three garage doors with new timber and glass doors/screens at Rook Lane House, Christchurch Street West, Frome, by Mr and Mrs Rose has been approved.

Roofing over a space between toilet and kitchen at the rear of the house to create a boot room/utility room at Corner Cottage, Foxholes Lane, Lullington, by Mrs Tonja Barefield has been approved.

Retrospective permission to demolish structurally unsound outhouse at 35 Keyford, Frome, by Mr Markus Fischer has been approved.

Erection of porch at 5 Rowan Court, Frome, by Mrs Tanya Labno has been approved.

Change of use of land to the rear of The Fox and Hounds, and siting of two Static Caravans at the Fox And Hounds Inn, Bulls Quarries Road, Tytherington, by Mr Adam Harris has been approved.

Conversion of a garage to a single storey dwelling house on land adjacent to Kennel Cottage, Mead Lane, Wanstrow, by Mr Mark Crabbe has been withdrawn.

Proposed works to a tree covered by a Tree Preservation Order M1358 - T1 - Dawn Redwood - Fell at Shelsey House, Welshmill Road, Frome, by Mr Richard Perkins have been approved.

Demolition of existing building and replace with one 4 bedroom dwellinghouse at The Bungalow, Court Farm, Buckland Lane, Great Elm, by Professor E Thompson has been approved.

Replace existing, blockwork garage with improved garage and storage building at 29 Locks Hill, Frome, by Mr E Caldwell has been approved.

A retrospective application to vary condition 2 (drawing nos.), 3 (external facing materials) of planning approval 2017/1752/HSE to install a rooflight to extension and reconstruct shed to be used as a garden store at 8 Sheppards Barton, Frome, by Mrs Diana Smith has been approved.

Proposed side/rear single storey extension at 11 Sycamore Drive, Frome, by Mr S Ford has been approved.

An application for a non-material amendment to permission 2018/0891/HSE for the rear extension to be finished in brick to match the existing instead of the approved render at 26 Farmhouse Drive, Frome, by Mr Toby Northeast has been approved.
