Six excited members of Frome Town Youth FC Wildcats recently played in their first football festival at Beversbrook sports ground, Calne.

The team of U7 and U8 girls joined five other girls teams and played a round robin festival throughout the morning.

The players enjoyed their first taste of playing proper matches, scoring some fabulous goals and taking their turn between the posts.

Wildcats coach, Sarah Davis, said: "We'd like to thank the Wiltshire County Women's and Girls' League for organising such a fun and relaxed event.

"It was a perfect introduction to organised football and the girls can't wait until the next one on November 9."

To find out more about how your daughter/granddaughter can get involved with girls football, contact Sarah Davis 07832 035552, [email protected] or via the club website on the red button below.
