RTC Persons Trapped at A36 Beckington

Date: 20.05.2018Time: 17:05Location: A36 BeckingtonFire appliances from Trowbridge and Frome attended an RTC involving 3 vehicles. There were 4 casualties trapped in the vehicles involved. Crews requested a further appliance and and the heavy rescue vehicle, sent from Warminster and Trowbridge respectively.

Crews got to work alongside paramedics to rescue casualties. Crews used rescue gear, stabilisation equipment and other small tools to release all casualties. The Ambulance service treated all casualties at scene and conveyed them to hospital. Crews made the vehicles safe, and duty of care was left with the Police.
