Lucky escape following car fire in Frome

Firefighters in Frome were called out today (July 26) to a vehicle fire near Asda.

They were called out just before 1pm today and extinguished the vehicle fire using a hose reel jet.

Unfortunately, the car was totally destroyed by the fire which was closed as an fire incident at just before 5pm.

Later the driver of the car thanked all of those who stopped and asked if she was ok.

She posted : " Everyone got out luckily. There are some really kind people in Frome, so if you were in the area and asked if everyone was okay, thank you
