Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Mechanic to join our small maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role specialising in heavy vehicle maintenance. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and vehicle diagnostics. Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid UK driving licence suitable for HGV vehicles is desirable but not essential.
