On arrival, crews confirmed one car well alight on a public highway. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and closed the road for safety reasons. The fire caused 60% fire damage to the vehicle and was believed to be caused deliberately.

The Police were also in attendance at the scene.
