Frome Window Wanderland - how to get involved

Frome Window Wanderland is a walking art trail running 1st - 4th March 2024, 5:30pm-10pm.

The event is free to take part in. Using a map, people wander around town to find the lit up decorated window displays. It is a lovely atmosphere in the evening, with lots of local people coming out, chatting and enjoying each other's displays.

The event brings the community together, inspires creativity and promotes wellbeing and good mental health.

The event aims to get people outdoors, active and socialising during a time of year where lots of people end up indoors and isolated.

Before the event, participants create window displays for their home or another address in Frome.

We want to make the event more inclusive and accessible by providing free materials to low income households and supporting more marginalised individuals to take part.

To achieve this we have had generous support from Frome Town Council and Frome Active Sports Trust, as well as sponsorship from some of the fantastic independent business in town.

The project is being run by Black Swan Arts.

A number of free workshops are taking place in the leadup to the event:

10% discount is available at PostScript Frome for any materials bought for making windows.
