A big game for local Frome football - but rain puts paid to the match

It was supposed to be a big game for The Robins this evening, with a major match, the last of the season, against a team from the league they were dropped from.
But the weather put paid to that and the match has been cancelled, which is a great disappointment to the players, and their manager. Frome FC operations director, Gary Collinson said: "It's disappointing as we now go into Saturday's top of the table clash having not played a game for 14 days when we were in a rich vein of form. I'm sure the manager Danny Greaves will get them fully prepared for Saturday's game however."Frome now play Thatcham on Saturday. At the match supporters are reminded that there will be a collection for the local foodbank, Fair Frome.
