Rodden Road Post Office in Frome is to re-open next under new management at the same location as before - 34 Rodden Road, Frome, BA11 2AE.

The branch is due to re-open on Friday 19 April at 1pm, restoring Post Office services to this area of Frome.

The branch closed temporarily on 29 July 2023 following the resignation of the retail partner and the closure of the convenience store. The shop has now re-opened under new management and the owners have successfully applied for Rodden Road Post Office.

The opening hours will be: Monday to Saturday: 9am – 6pm.

This will provide 54 hours of Post Office service a week for the convenience of customers.

The same range of Post Office products and services will be available.

Antoinette Chitty, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: "We are delighted to be restoring Post Office services to Rodden Road as we know how important a Post Office is to a community. I know that the local community will join me in welcoming this good news and hope that our customers will continue to use this service. "
