It is one of the amazing and uniquely Frome events and is coming back to town for a third year, with organisers hoping to make it a record.

This year Frome's imagination and creativity will be on display, literally, in the town windows from Friday 28th February to Monday 2nd March - just after half term.

Windows will be alight from 5.30-9 pm so even if you don't take part every evening there will be a chance to stroll around enjoying the designs.

Frome Window Wanderland is a fun community event where anyone can make a display in their own window (or garden) and light it up for others to wander around and enjoy. The event is completely free with no fees to participate.

Over a hundred homes and businesses have signed up but organisers are hoping to beat last year's record of 220.

The group are also holding lots workshops on the run up to the event giving adults and children an opportunity to design and make colourful window decorations to take home and display for Frome Window Wanderland 2020.

All of those can be seen on the listing on our What's On page under the red button but include one one in the morning of February 17 at the Cheese & Grain, in association with Frome Children's Festival.

There are also three drop in evening sessions for adults at Black Swan Arts, 30th Jan, 6th Feb and 13th Feb from 7-9pm. There is no limit or design rules, you can make your window display as ornate or as simple as you like.

To sign up go to the website www.windowwanderland.com/event/frome-2020.

Organiser Lisa said: " People have until Sunday 9th February to sign up to be included on the free printed map we produce, but they are able to sign up after that date. It is good to get included on the map though. "
