Thank you very much Asda for all your help.

That was the message from the Frome-based Active and in Touch who were able to formally thank the super market for their help in tackling loneliness and isolation.

The charity has seen a three fold increase in members and volunteers over the past year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So the organisation was particurlarly pleased to be able to thank Asda and a number of other organisations and businesses who have enabled their work in the Frome community over the years.

A spokesperson said: " This is Active in Touch's tenth anniversary year and Asda has been a fantastic supporter of the charity for many of those years. The charity is so grateful for funds and donations - particularly for their Christmas lunch. "

Asda also also supports them with the Tuesday group meeting in Victoria Park.
