Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for dash cam footage of a road traffic incident in which a car rolled three times close to Nunney Catch.

It happened on the A361, near to Nunney Catch, on 21 August at 8.20pm.

A silver coloured Ford Focus was driving along the A361 towards Nunney, when it overtook another car on a bend, which resulted in a lorry coming in the opposite direction having to take evasive action.

The car then appeared to lose control, rolling three times before coming to rest 50 yards along the road. The driver got out unharmed.

Enquiries into the incident are continuing and the police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.

A spokesperson said: "We would particularly like to hear from anyone who has dash cam footage of the incident.

"Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact us, quoting reference 5219192923."
