Authors at Vallis First School share their stories with the Frome Mayor

The Year 3 and 4 children at Vallis First School really enjoyed reading The Mousehole Cat by Antonia Barber.

This book really inspired the children to write some wonderful stories, poems and recipes based on this text. The children wrote their own books which have been shared in the local community.

Some of their work was displayed at the Town Hall. A group these authors were so excited to share their amazing stories with the Mayor,
