The luxury hotel and event venue, where the musician Professor Green was married, Babington House, will be putting in extra parking for its celebrity guests.

The favoured resting place for burnt-out Londoners, will be putting in extra parking for its guests, and staff, following a successful application to Mendip's planning department. Babington, which falls under the jurisdiction of Kilmersdon Parish Council, also wants to carry out some improvements to maintenance buildings, and to undertake some landscaping work. Babington, which is owned by the members-only club Soho House which made the application, is a Grade II listed manor house, located between Radstock and Frome. It has hosted countless celebrity weddings, with the average cost of having nuptials there around £45,000.

The application was granted on December 2 by Mendip District Council, who got the initial planning details back in July.
