One of the biggest alternative bands in the UK, Wolf Alice, has chosen Frome as one of just four venues to play as part of a 'Revive Live' concert to support live music.

The rock group, formed in 2010, has teamed up with the Music Venue Trust to put on four what they call "intimate" shows. The Trust, which is a registered charity has a stated mission to help protect, secure and improve music venues.

They have chosen only independent venues for their gigs, and will be playing Frome's Cheese & Grain on September 26.

Wolf Alice won the Mercury Prize in 2018 and in the same year were nominated as the Best British Group at the Brits but lost out to Gorillaz.
