There is a big drive right now to donate items to local charity shops and a keen appetite to find places to donate to in Frome.

Nub News understands that this shop, Barnardo's out towards the Frome Rugby club is now accepting donations ahead of re-opening April 12.

The shop itself will re-open next week at 9.30 am.

The other sister shop in the centre of Frome will re-open at 9am on April 12. It is also accepting donations but only by reserved appointment.

According to the Charity Retail Association, nationwide charity shops lost around £28m a month during the lockdown.
