Bath climate protest Saturday local Frome activists will be there

There will be a big climate crisis protest through Bath this coming weekend and the council is warning that there will be big traffic and travel delays.

The protest has been organised by Extinction Rebellion but with invites have been given out to all nature, climate and social justice groups across the South West.

Organisers are expecting a large turnout saying : " It should be a wonderful opportunity to do something about the bad climate news we've been hearing about all summer. It will be a fun, relaxing low risk day focused on raising awareness of climate issues. "

The main rally is in Victoria Park on Saturday October 28 but there will also be a march and from 10.30am -12 Somerset Silent Rebellion will be holding a vigil outside Barclays Bank, on Southgate Street. Sacred Earth Activists will also be at a Survive Water demonstration at Bath Abbey.
