Frome-based songstress, Sara Vian and guitarist, David Setterfield are set to release their second collaboration, "Brighter Days" – an uplifting acoustic jazz-folk fusion with Spanish influences to spirit you away from the gruelling grey into sunnier vistas.

The song it set to be released on Candlemass (Tuesday 2nd February) and was originally inspired by the Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Festival song-writing competition in 2020.

Sara co-wrote the song with Chris Watson from Music Eye Radio (Frome FM) who discovered a folk tale about how humanity was locked out of the Garden of Eden in bitterest snow until an angel took pity on us and blew life into the snow to create the snowdrop.

Artist, Julie-Anne Cook from Bruton was also inspired to do the CD cover (shown above).

The song will be available across all digital platforms and a video will be available too.
