The local bus user and campaign group FAVBUG has appealed for help in cleaning up the town bus shelters.

They say that graffiti on the bus shelters in Frome has got a lot worse over the last year and if it is not tackled then they become targets for more damage.

FAVBUG has got some graffiti remover and window cleaner but could do with some extra help physical help cleaning the bus shelters. The bus shelters we have identified are mainly on the D2 route and also at the Cornerhouse pub, The Grove and and next to Vallis Way Industrial Estate.

Adding : " If anyone knows any other bus shelters needing attention in Frome, please let us know."

Would anyone be up for helping to clean the bus shelters as a one off - the team say it can take just 30 minutes to clean a shelter? You can contact them here

Additionally, they would love to hear from any local window cleaners who may have an extendable brush.

Adding: " Could they spare an hour of their time to help clean a small number of bus shelter roofs (not all of the bus shelter roofs need cleaning)? Unfortunately, FAVBUG or any of the volunteers aren't able to work at height due to our insurance restrictions so can't clean the roofs of bus shelters."
