A by-election took place on Thursday, 6 October to elect a new Mendip District Councillor for the Butleigh and Baltonsborough ward.

The results of the by-election are as follows:

  • Ken Maddock, Conservative – 393 (ELECTED)
  • Claire Sully, Liberal Democrat – 389

The Butleigh and Baltonsborough by-election was called following the death of Cllr Nigel Woollcombe-Adams in July.
