If you heard sirens late last night (August 23) then this will be why.

At just after 11pm last night fire control received numerous calls for a camper van on fire in Selwood Road. Two fire appliances from Frome were mobilised and upon arrival crews confirmed one camper van with the front end well alight.

Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. There was 30% fire damage with officers saying the fire was started deliberately.
