Carbon Monoxide Alarm at Woolverton, Frome

Date: 25.08.2018Time: 06:26Location: Woolverton, FromeDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting a potential carbon monoxide poisoning.

Two fire appliance from Frome were immediately mobilised by fire control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed that two adults and four children had been taken to hospital by ambulance with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. Crews used gas monitoring equipment to make the scene safe.

The leak was suspected to have come from a butane powered camping fridge.
