Tianna Sampson, a Paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing Team at Thatcher + Hallam, is celebrating after graduating from the University of the West of England with a Law Degree. The graduation ceremony, postponed from 2021, took place in May 2022 at Ashton Gate Football Stadium, in Bristol. Tianna completed her studies whilst also working at Thatcher + Hallam, having initially joined the residential conveyancing team on a temporary basis to support them with the high volume of work they had due to the Stamp Duty Land Tax Holiday. She has since been promoted to a permanent Paralegal position within the team.

Tianna said, "It's great to have finally had my graduation ceremony, after an unusual time at University. All our studies were moved online due to COVID, which was challenging at times. But the celebrations have now officially taken place and I am looking forward to taking the next steps in progressing my career." Tianna has also recently completed the ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management and is now studying for her Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) and a Master of Law (LLM) at the University of Law.

George Persson, Training Principle at Thatcher + Hallam said, "The whole team is delighted for Tianna and we are really pleased we've been able to offer her a permanent role within the team. Her commitment to her studies is really commendable and we look forward to being able to celebrate with her again in the future as she completes the next steps in her career."
