Cheese & Grain COVID-19 Response Statement

The Cheese & Grain has taken the decision to close its doors for a month and postpone upcoming events and activities until 20th April in light of the severity & public concern surrounding the current Coronavirus Pandemic.

For postponed events customers will be automatically moved to the new date and need do nothing more, original tickets will be honoured at the new date, with refunds being available if the customer cannot attend the rescheduled date.

For the very few cancelled events refunds will be automatically processed.

We ask that customers email [email protected] for a refund request if they cannot make a new date on a postponed show. Do not phone the box office as we will be mainly working remotely in the near future.

We are also determined to support our staff for as long as we possibly can in this difficult time.

Following government advice for the public to "avoid pubs, clubs, and theatres" it would be unreasonable for us to expect our staff and customers to continue attending and working our events.

This is a very difficult time for everyone. The Cheese & Grain is a charity and all our funding comes from hall hires and from audiences purchasing tickets, using our cafe and bar and hiring rooms.

Please consider donating the cost of your ticket rather than requesting a refund. We are also asking all our customers to become a Friend of the Cheese & Grain, this can be easily done by visiting the website www.cheeseandgrain.com/membership

While public and staff safety is, of course, paramount to us, a long period of closure without support will prove an existential threat to the venue, so at this time, we ask you to please bear with us while we deal with refunds for imminent events in as timely a manner as we can.

Whilst we continue to follow Government advice please stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you to the Cheese & Grain very soon.

Thank you for your continued support.
