In September, Frome will welcome up to 30 visitors from each of its three twinned towns in France, Germany and Poland.

This means Frome Town Council and Frome Twinning Association are on a mission to find homes for up to 90 guests who will be taking part in a number of planned activities and events, including the carnival, to unite the towns.

They are looking for friendly Frome families to host visitors, including young people aged between 14 and 18 years old, from 19th to 23rd September.

Not only is this an opportunity to meet new people and learn about other people's cultures, traditions and home life, it can also be a great way to practice a few language skills.

Through these important links with the twin towns, Frome can gain a vast wealth of educational, cultural, commercial and social opportunities, including offering young people aged 18 to 25 the chance to take part in work placements in Murrhardt, Germany.
