Dishwasher Fire at Catherston Close, Frome
Date: 13.10.2018Time: 12:54Location: Catherston Close, FromeDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a dishwasher on fire at the above location.
Fire control immediately mobilised one fire appliance from Frome, one from Warminster, one from Trowbridge and an Operational Assurance Officer.On arrival the officer in charge confirmed a fire within a utility room involving a dishwasher. Crews used a CO2 extinguisher, small tools and a thermal imaging camera to ensure that the fire was out.
Duty of care was left with on site staff.
