Dorothy House Hospice Care were over the moon to receive £750 worth of hygiene products for their patients from colleagues at Asda Frome.

Dorothy House Hospice Care provides free, palliative and end of life care across 700 square miles, serving a population of 550,000 people in Bath & North East Somerset, and parts of Somerset and Wiltshire.

Providing services for people living with a life-limiting illness, their families and carers requires significant funds and for every £1 from the government, the hospice have to raise £5.

Steph Cox, Community and Events Fundraiser at Dorothy House said: "We are so thankful to the colleagues at Asda Frome who have been continually supportive to the hospice. These donations will go such a long way towards the patients who stay in our In-Patient Unit and also to those who need it out in our community when our nurses and carers go to visit patients in their homes. We are so grateful to Asda Frome and the Asda Foundation for their incredible contribution!"

Jackie Bryant, Community Champion at Asda said: "We are always 100% committed to supporting Dorothy House. They do such an amazing job of looking after the patients and their families."
