When Nub News went out early on Wednesday (February 21) the roads around the so-called Asda junction were certainly wet, but passable.

Not for long.

The waters came higher and higher and as this drone footage shows the are around the traffic lights became a flood.

Not that it stopped some drivers attempting to get through, but as these photos show, it was at a cost.

Several cars were submerged and others simply stopped mid manoeuvre.

This is not the first, or the second, time the water at Wallbridge has made this thoroughfare impassible. The question is, will it simply happen again?

The weather forecast is for light rain for the rest of this week, but more showers, some heavy next week.

Thank you to Arran Paulus Brough for the Frome footage
