An elderly person was injured yesterday (September 13) when a car rolled on top of them in Frome.

The incident happened at around 6pm in Wickham Rise, and fire crews from Frome and Warminster were mobilised following a call from the Ambulance Service who were at the scene.

The elderly casualty was released from under the vehicle and was taken to hospital. After making the vehicle and scene safe, the fire service say they left the duty of care for the incident with the police.
