In the true Christmas spirit of giving and charity, it was delightful to hear that all the pupils at Avanti Park completed a fun 'Elf Run'! The children were led by a 'super runner' also known as Mrs Abby Atkins their sporty Principal! Everyone, including Mrs Atkins dressed up as a delightful impeccably behaved elf, not naughty, we hasten to add!

All those that took part raised invaluable funds for a local noteworthy charity namely, Dorothy House.  For those not aware, Dorothy House offers palliative and end of life care. Their mission is to ensure that everyone has access to outstanding palliative care with compassion.

Avanti Park were really pleased to have also held a series of nativity plays and singing concerts throughout the final weeks of term with each and every class giving their 'all'. The children and staff worked tremendously hard together rehearsing, with many laughs had along the way. The end of term performances were a much-needed celebration, especially as last year restrictions put a stop to some of the festive activities. Mrs Atkins was pleased to have been able to open Avanti Park's doors to families again, sharing good cheer and laughter!

On that note, everyone at Avanti Park School wishes the local community in Frome and further afield a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
