The busy and popular Frome weekly flea market is having a bit of a makeover, with a new manager at the helm and an even bigger selection of items for sale.

The market, held in the Cheese & Grain hall is being taken on by former Frome College tutor and stall holder herself, Carol Liddicoat.

Some new ideas for the much-loved market which is on every Wednesday morning include a special 'shared' space with a pick of the pieces table with the most dazzling items from each stall. Every week there will continue to be a table in the hall which is given for free to a local charity to fundraise.

The cost of a table is £13, with a special loyalty scheme and discount if those hosting a stall book for five weeks.

In all it will be the same busy, friendly and find-a-gem market but with extra sparkle.
