An interactive and collaborative training session run by experts has been organised to help people improve their digital skills and presence.

Taking place on 19 September from 9am to 1pm at Frome Town Hall, the event will focus on building digital understanding and skills. It will cover the following areas:

Social Media – Providing insight into how to grow your social media presence and engage proactively with your target audience.

Build a Digital Marketing Plan – Learn how to create and structure a digital marketing plan utilising the main digital marketing channels.

Frome town councillor Andy Palmer said: "Training like this is great for continued professional development, adding to CVs when looking for new roles and generally boosting knowledge.

"It's ideal for anyone looking to grow their abilities in a digital age, so do come along and find out what it's all about."

The hands-on training session is run by Google and will include time to engage with the trainers and digital champions to discuss any bespoke questions. It's free to attend but booking is essential.

The event is available for local residents thanks to Lloyds Bank along with Frome Town Council, Mendip District Council and Heart of the South West Digital Skills Partnership.
