Extreme weather warning for Frome - expect wind and lots of rain Wednesday

The Met Office continues to warn of severe weather due for Frome - along with much of the South West - this coming Wednesday (November 1)
Although it is currently lovely with some sunshine, that is all due to change this evening.
And the Met Office has issued a Yellow warning of rain from 6pm Wednesday which will come in with Storm Ciarán.
That means : Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible - Homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings - Some communities may be cut off by flooded roads - Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life
There is also a Yellow warning for the winds starting at 9pm and going until midnight November 2.
The warning is for very strong and potentially damaging winds . - There is a slight chance that damage to buildings and homes could occur, with roofs blown off and power lines brought down - There is a small chance that flying debris will result in a danger to life - There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties - There is a small chance that roads, bridges and railway lines could close, with delays and cancellations to bus, train, ferry services and flights
It follows a record-breaking period of rain earlier this month with the Met Office recording that the 18 to 20 October period was the third-wettest independent three-day period in England and Wales since 1891.
