Fair Housing for Frome will have an information stall in the Westway Shopping Centre this Saturday 29th August from 9am-3pm. The organisation which campaigns on local housing issues will have team members on hand to discuss housing problems and inform the public of their plans as well as signposting people to agencies that can help with specific problems.

The organisation said: "There is likely to be an increase in homeless due to loss of income over the recent lockdown period, this could be made worse when the current ban on evictions ends in a few weeks time creating further hardship for those who are already struggling. Fair Housing for Frome campaigns on these and associated issues working alongside local council and homeless organisations such as Elim Connect.

"We hope that Frome residents will come and talk to us on Saturday, find out more about us and tell us about their housing experiences in the town."

Fair Housing for Frome also run the popular 'Frome Housing Noticeboard' on Facebook, the page which connects landlords and renters has become increasingly used as a platform for people to find private rental homes, rooms and shared accommodation.

Pop down to the Westway Shopping Centre on Saturday for more information or click here : their site for regular updates on the organisations activities.
