Family saved from car trapped in flooding in Frome

A family including a baby had to be rescued by the fire service after being trapped in a flood in Frome. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called to an report of the car stuck at Sandy's Lane in Little Keyford. It took two fire crews, wearing special flood suits and using a technical winch to get to the vehicle at half past four in the afternoon on Thursday. In the car were two adults, one child and one baby. The car was winched to dry ground the driver and his passengers were unhurt.
