Frome Nub News really enjoys the coffee at this special place in Frome.
But it seems like we are not alone.
Earlier this month we were heartbroken to learn that the actor Sean Bean was interviewed and photographed for the Times Magazine in the gardens of the Rise venue.
That was on August 1.
Then this last weekend (August 20) another famous face to add to what the Rise team have said is a growing list of amazing people.
One of the managers of the bakery, coffee and gallery on Whittox Lane, Ed Roberts met actor James Norton, who he posted on social media was not at all like his character in Happy Valley; a programme set in Hebden Bridge.
We are very glad to hear it since James played a hideous killer who he said at the time led to : "8 million people are currently wishing me dead. "
Built in the early 1800s, the former United Reformed Church was a social and religious hub for Frome residents. When it was a church, RISE (formerly known as the HUBnub Centre) was a place where friends met and where ideas were shared and the managers say they are committed to keeping that tradition of community alive.
