Show your love for our local retailers with this year's Fiver Fest, set to return to Frome's streets on 15th -17th October. The unique shopping event is back for three days of special £5 offers from independent shops, cafés, restaurants and more.

2020 has been a difficult year for many retailers and choosing to spend just £5 a week in local shops can have a big impact on our high streets, boosting the local economy and increasing employment. Fiver Fest gives you an affordable and impactful way to check out a business you haven't visited before and make a difference where you live.

Cllr Nick Dove said, "If you've ever wondered what you can you buy for a fiver, this event is the one for you because the answer is lots! Frome is a treasure trove of fantastic independents and Fiver Fest is a great way to help show your support."

Perfect for preparing for Christmas or just treating yourself to something special, from sweet toothed indulgences and luxurious smellies to children's books and practical entrance mats. Check out your regular haunts and see if they have any bargains or uncover a new favourite.

In the lead up to the event, Frome Town Council will be promoting all the shops taking part on their Instagram feed, so follow @FromeCommunity or search for #FromeFiverFest on Instagram. If your business would like to get involved, whether you're in person or online as long as you're local and independent, just get in contact with Frome Town Council on [email protected]

Fiver Fest is part of the national Totally Locally campaign and celebrates the local businesses, often run by families or individuals, which make a real contribution to our unique town.
