He had never had any human interaction, caged from birth and never shown any affection or love.

But now this rescue pup is being overwhelmed with care and attention thanks to a local group which help save him from a vile puppy farm.

Adorable Brian is now in his new home (which we have been asked to keep secret to protect his new owners from any retribution and because the breed is considered so valuable ) learning to be a boisterous and loving six month old dog.

He had horrible beginnings, with his mother being used as a breeding bitch and kept in a tiny cage. But thanks to social media, he was saved and had lots of offers for fostering.

He has now been taken on Jenny in Frome. He had a very bad start to his life not just emotionally but he was suffering from cherry eye - a very common issues in bulldogs.

But his new mum and dad absolutely adore him and spoil him rotten - he is now learning to play and getting used to sounds in a home. We were told ; "he had never knew what a cuddle was, but now he spends all his time in his new owners lap. His new mum and dad are so lucky. "

The White Hart pub in Corsley has regular Bulldog meetings when Brian was a star guest.

Owner landlady Adelle, who was key to finding him a new home, is very familiar with the bulldog breed as she owns two bulldogs, Woody who is six and Winnie who is four years old.

They had over 45 dogs at the meet up - which was so successful they are planning another - with a spooky ish them. The White Hart will be hosting another meet up on 29th October - a Halloween special fancy dress and Brian will of course be there. Anyone and everyone is welcome with any bull breed, with the pub telling us they mainly have English and French Bulldogs mainly coming to visit. For more details see their social media page.
