Fire in the open at Gypsey Lane, Frome
Date: 11.06.2018Time: 13:08Location: Gypsey Lane, FromeDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service received a call from a member of the public reporting a fire in the open at the above location.
A fire appliance from Frome was immediately mobilised by Fire Control.On arrival the officer in charge confirmed there to be a rubbish fire that also involved the hedgerow. The fire is believed to be started deliberately.
Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.
