A new online art course is on for anyone in Mendip who is feeling isolated, and is struggling with poor wellbeing or mental health.

The aim of the project is to have fun, to keep your mind active, and for you to connect with others in your community.

The Visual Arts course is being hosted by artist Barbara Disney who will be teaching art techniques using materials you are likely to have in the home, from packaging to the contents of your kitchen cupboard.

Suitable for anyone who enjoys making things, as well as those who haven't made art since they were very young but would like to give it a go.

The sessions are being organised by Creativity Works and will run on Mondays starting October 19.

They will take place online using Zoom. Tickets click HERE: the Eventbrite site

If you do not live in Mendip but would like to access Creative Wellbeing courses please contact them about their work in Bath and North East Somerset via [email protected]
