Barclays in Frome is NOT one of the branches marked for the latest round of closures.

The banking group announced this week that 14 more branches are closing, that's on top of the 55 already earmarked to close across England and Wales this year.

But the list does not currently include Frome.

According to the money website This Is Money, Lloyds, Barclays, NatWest, HSBC and Santander have all shut more than half their branches since 2015.

The nearest Barclays to Frome which is part of the current list is in Chippenham, Tiverton and Honiton in Devon will also be shutting in June.

Natwest in Frome has already announced it will be closing in May this year. HSBC, also on the Market Place in Frome will be closing on June 6.
