All the former trade signs on a Frome shop front have been restored as a reminder of the town's agricultural past.

Scaffolding came down on June 18 following special artisan stone work above the Not Just Pets shop on Bath Street.

The work was carried out by Gorgon Stone Conservation who told Nub News previously that : " We have uncovered Yeovil Tractors Ltd, which went bankrupt in 1948. There are also to vertical signs for Fordson and Ransomes, which were tractor makers. There is also an old AA badge/ logo with one of the RAC below.

"Underneath that layer of paint is York Motors and underneath that layer of paint (the oldest so far) is Hot and Cold Heating."
