Cute as buttons....these two are off to their new homes thanks to the continued work of the Frome Cats Protection team.

Dante - who does look like he is a little devilish with those ears - and Milton, were re homed under the charity's new way of working.

The pair, along with their two siblings came to the charity aged just five weeks after they'd been living outside after being born to a feral mum.

The charity told Nub News : " Seeing them go from scared, hissy kittens to loving, confident ones makes all the hard work so rewarding. They came in with their two other siblings Merlin and Tabitha."

Due to current restrictions the charity is only able to re-home within a 20 mile radius of Frome.

Their adoption fee will be increased to £85 ; to cover the additional costs associated with hands free homing.

During the coronavirus lockdown some selected Cats Protection centres and branches have been trialling a new hands-free homing approach for some of the cats and that has included Frome.

On their website HERE : the Cats Protection site they explain some of the new procedures.

Under coronavirus rules all the team will always wear aprons and gloves when handling cats, and use disposable gloves when touching carriers.

They explain further : " We will put on a fresh pair of gloves to carry your cat to your door. Our driver will leave the cat on your doorstep and knock/ring the bell/call you. We will wait at a safe distance to see that you have received the cat before leaving. We suggest that you wash your hands once you have set the cat up in its safe room. This is to ensure that we can continue to help as many cats as possible at this time by matching them with their perfect family and freeing up more space for cats in need of a new home. "
