Frome College has been buzzing this week, as it welcomed the BBC Question Time production team.

The political show, which is well known for its topical and lively debates, was broadcast from the Merlin Theatre on Thursday 23 May, hosted by Fiona Bruce.

On the panel alongside Fiona, were Damian Green MP (former First Secretary to the Cabinet and Work and Pensions Secretary), Tracy Brabin MP (Shadow Education Minister), Camilla Cavendish (author, columnist and former head of policy at Number 10), Miatta Fahnbulleh (Chief Executive of the Economics Foundation), and Simon Jordan (sports commentator and former Chairman of Crystal Palace FC).

Throughout the day, Frome College students attended broadcasting and technical workshops with the team.

Prior to the show going live, Fiona invited the group to join her on the panel in the technical test rehearsal.

They all said they had an amazing time, and will remember the experience for a very long time.

Jane Davis from the college said: "We would like to thank the team at the BBC for visiting Frome College and look forward to the next time."
