Frome fire service was called out late last night (October 7) to a fire in Buckland Dinham.

Fire crews were mobilised to a report of an electrical fire in a garage that was attached to the main property of a home in the village.

On arrival crews confirmed this was a small electrical fire in the consumer unit. The fire was extinguished using a Co2 extinguisher and officers used a thermal image camera to find the source.

There was only slight fire damage to the consumer unit and the cause of the fire was ruled accidental, with the crew back to base an hour later by 10.30 pm.
