The flash floods in the Wallbridge area of Frome last week were shocking in their intensity and depth.

At least one company the Carpet Factory Frome, found its business premises badly flooded, when the river came up over the banks and into their warehouse.

Now they have appealed on social media to help them by coming back in to shop.

The company which closed for a big clean up on Saturday January 6, said they are OPEN and would welcome the business.

They said " We are trading as best we can, estimates and fitting all going ahead. We are still continuing to work so please support us and think of us for any new flooring.

"We have received some fantastic support from everyone and we thank you all. "

Storm Henk caused devastation to many parts of Somerset, including Shepton Mallet and this area of Frome.
