Frome Memorial Theatre will throw open its doors on Saturday morning when it gives the public a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes.

Take a behind the curtain tour of the Theatre and discover the secrets of one of the finest local theatres in the West Country. Our volunteers will be on hand to show you the hidden parts of the theatre and discuss various volunteering roles on offer.

This backstage tour is a great chance to go behind the scenes, see the workings of the theatre and walk down memory lane as we chat through the theatre's fascinating history. There will also be an opportunity to try out the latest in theatre technology and use lighting and sound desks,

The theatre is run entirely by volunteers and you can learn more about volunteering opportunities in various areas including backstage, technical, kiosk, box office, stewarding and more.

Refreshments will be available.
