Sunflower Montessori Nursery at 9 Palmer Street, in Frome has been given a sunny report by Ofsted.

There is also special praise for the staff, who are, inspectors report, gentle with the children and respond well to their needs.

This is then passed on with the staff as good role models, so, the report goes on to state: " children are kind and show each other empathy. Children are inquisitive and eager to take part in activities. They quickly learn the nursery routines and understand the staff's expectations."

The nursery was checked in January and has just had the report published, stating it is Good on all criteria, the quality of education, good behaviour and attitudes and personal development and management.

The nursery, which opened in 2021 is one of just two privately owned and run nurseries in Frome and has nine childcare staff, including the owner/manager.

They offer a total of 36 places from children from birth until aged four.
