If you were missing the rain Frome - don't worry it is back - tomorrow (August 21).

It has led the Town Council to cancel plans for their Party in the Green.

The event has been postponed until Saturday 28th August.

The Met Office has just issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for much of the South West including Frome.

The forecast is for heavy showers and thunderstorms which may cause some transport disruption and perhaps flooding.

Local weather site Kilmersdon Weather is predicting that, even without Saturday's downpours (and we may miss the worst ), August is set to be the dullest 'summer' month since 2008.
